Worked on a large EAI software programme at MTN in South Africa to mentor them in implementing and tailoring the RUP software development framework on their Billing Programme which implemented a convergent billing COTS and a java code ESB / SOA integration to the rest of the companies existing applications such as Oracle financials, etc. This was a geographically dispersed team, most teams in Johannesburg but others in Ireland and Cape Town.

Brought on board to bolster the newly formed Architecture / Process Engineering group. The aim of the group was to advise on and help implement the Rational Unified Process (RUP) with its Rational tool set on the Opsco project building an STP FX trading platform. This involved mentoring Requirements analysts and Architects on UML, RUP and the Rational Toolset.
